A Glimpse into our Comets classroom
About our schoolage program
Our Comets room is for children entering Kindergarten through 12 years of age. We offer a before and after school program (with transportation for children who attend Pinecrest), as well as care on non-school days and summer care. Our warm and inviting environment can help promote working together, problem solving, and having fun.
Before school, there will be breakfast and free play in our different learning centers throughout the room. After school, there will be time to be active with friends, work on homework, play outside, and do arts and crafts. Our non-school days and summer care will include field trips, meals, increase independence, and provide an active and consistent schedule.
We are happy to offer care to children from all elementary schools, but we can only provide transportation to Pinecrest at this time. This transportation will be through the Hastings bus company.
We will spend as much time outside as we can, as long as weather permits. Through this, we hope to encourage children to explore their surroundings as well as participate in small and large muscle activities daily.
